宜兴茶壶

Yixing teapots have been a cultural staple of fine Chinese pottery since, at least, the Song Dynasty (10th Century). The craft has been around for so long that we can categorize the varying aspects of the pottery into some definable subgroups. This is mainly a write-up for naming conventions and characteristics of these standards, both to help consumers search for what they want, and for sellers to market what they have. The guide will also go into general buying tips and light authentication techniques for those newer to the craft. In addition to this main purpose, there will be a dive into the History and Industry related to Yixing Teapots.
